Pete,
Instead of monitoring OIL temp, I'd recommend that you install a cylinder head temp gauge (CHT). This will indicate a beginning-to-overheat condition much faster than oil temp. On our 1966 95hp Monza, the CHT gauge let us get the car home one time on only ONE carb and another time with no fan running. In both cases we drove until the CHT gauge got up to 450 deg.F than stopped and cooled off the engine for a while before proceeding again. The engine survived for many more years (of course it did have Viton O rings and synthetic oil.)

I am going to install additional guages to my 65 110 Monza. I have a couple questions on where to go for the easiest power supply.
#1 Where is the easiest place to supply Ignition from? Im assuming that splicing into the B/P wire at the ignition switch would give me Ign switched power. Is there a male terminal at the fuse block that will supply me with the same Ign switched power?
#2 The volt guage has two terminals, Neg, and Pos. I want this guage to be tied into the Ign and also tell me if there is a drop in voltage if the charging system were to fail. Where should this + voltage originate from? (Hopefully telling me that the fan belt may have come off)
Im building a wire harnes for theese guages ( Tach, Oil Press, Oil Temp, Volt) and would like to do it right the first time. Thanks in advance,
