 You've never drove one?  Or caravanned with  one in the  last 20 years?   
They may have worked well on the old leaded  gasoline.. but in SoCal, ever since 
Unleaded took over....rattle  city!
 
Do some research on the Web on head designs..   open chambers  suck!
