last issue of blowby and oil consumption i saw was (i think) due to one
piece oil rings from cheap ring set , instead of 3 piece. this caused HEAVY oil
use and pressures in the crankcase on a fairly new "rebuild" job.
an 80hp with 64 carbs set up correctly ,a 319 distributor, with the right
differential will be economical to drive , but not the most powerful car
around.
is there a lot of oil showing on the plugs?
oil fumes in heater almost has to be from the engine compartment area or o
rings so look for leaks.
