<VV> Convertible top window care-Hot Towels

Somewhere in this thread I read a note about placing a soft towel  
around the rear window and leaving it down all summer.  If you live n  
a hot place, like north Texas, I don't recommend this as the time I  
did it, I had nice clear vinyl window with a terry-cloth pattern  
permanently embossed into it.  I was VERY PISSED at myself.
