<VV> Battery size

I chuckle about what size battery you guys are recommending.  Do you
know what a battery weighs?  With today's gas prices we should be doing
everything possible to reduce the car's weight.  In my case reducing my
own weight would help a lot!   If a 25 pound battery starts your car why
drag around a 50 pound battery?  My buddy Mark Irons used a little
garden tractor or motorcycle battery to start his Canyonman turbo
Corvair dune buggy and it never failed to start even after heat soak.
