Frank,

I'm not an expert here, but I published a tech tip in our club newsletter
from the guys in Central PA last month that recommended that for
4-speed/diff combo's, you should use GL-4 lube. If you have a PG transaxle,
it is safe to use GL-5 lube in the diff. Reason being that the GL-5 is not
compatible with the bornze parts in a manual gear box (synchro blocking
rings). I would think you would want to stay around the 90wt range, as well
as switching to a multi-viscosity and synthetic.

Just my humble opinion.
