<VV> fan bearing coming out of top cover

Tim,
Yes a common occurance with a replaced bearing shaft where the cover was  not 
heated properly. Best thing now is one of the following. Replace the top  
cover and heat is before installing the shaft. Remove the shaft and file a flat  
in an appropriate spot. Then install a set screw in the neck of the cover to  
contact the flat and hold the shaft in place. Maybe removing the shaft and  
reinstalling it with some kind of goop to hold it in place might help I believe  
Permatex has a "bearing mount" type of goop that works.
