<VV> paint stripping

today, i would consider just getting a cheapy palm sander (harbor freight  
@$8)  and lots of sandpaper , the wet / dry grey stuff in 120 or so grit  and 
have at it until the sander is too hot to hold on to. i also used a high  speed 
die grinder with wire wheels to get at the hard to reach areas,
i have sandblasted , and stripped cars over the years. i found that certain  
spray can gasket removers work as well as or better than the aviation paint  
strippers. one case of spray cans cost about the same as a gallon of stripper  
and more than did a good job on a 62 vette i did years ago.
