<VV> carburetion

Went to CORSA meeting Thursday night, coming home my engine was running  
fine.  Went to travel Friday morning, thing was running rough and every  time I 
took her out of gear she died--would not idle at all.  Pulled the  plugs (they'd 
only been in there about 300 miles); seemed to be OK, gap was  about 30 thou. 
 Has anyone got a clue as to what's going on and what I need  to do so she 
doesn't die at every stoplight?
