<VV> Leaking Spyder Oil Tee

So, while I was dealing with my stuck lifter, I decided to try to fix that
slight oil leak from the base of my chrome Oil tee (feeding oil to the
turbo). When I went to remove it, I realized it was not completely tight,
so was not surprised to see evidence of a small leak. The problem is that
there is only one "right" position, i.e., where chrome line to the turbo
lines up with the hole in the tee. I can't go around another full turn,
because the threads in the tee itself bottom out less than a quarter turn
past the "right" position. So I tried putting a thin washer under the tee,
making it bottom out up in the "right" position. With a little Permatex 2
applied to the threads, all looked good and dry until I took it out on the
freeway. At speed, I guess the pressure was too much, and the leak has
returned.
Any other Spyder owners/mechanics/friends figured out a way to remedy this?
(It is a fairly new tee, if that means anything.)
Thanks,
