<VV> Electric vs Diaphram fuel pumps

If you want to make your Corvair more reliable and enjoyable, install an electric fuel pump (period!). Another great advantage of doing so is that you can clean up the engine compartent by plugging the mechanical fuel pump hole and running the fuel lines directly to the carburetors.
   
  If you want to keep your Corvair stock or enter it in Concours events, then stay with the diaphram fuel pump...and keep a few spares handy.
   
  or...
   
  If you want the reliability of an electric fuel pump and the look of "stock", install an electric fuel pump, modify the mechanical pump, and keep the stock fuel lines.
   
  Now the question is, "Which is the BEST electric fuel pump?"
