when my rampy was a 4 spd with 110hp engine and 3:55 differential , it  would 
go over 100mph on a corrected spyder speedo. that speedo was checked in  the 
vehicle with the village radar gun on the seat.
it was not a speed for the squeamish. it did run down the thruway at 75 -  80 
with no problems though.
the powerglide is all in at 80 + tops, but cruises ok at 70 now.   running 
205r75 14 on 3:55 differential.
not too many places around here to run 100 anymore without getting your  butt 
in trouble.  i guess it would be a waste of time to put a northstar in  it?
