Speaking of BTDT, Craig. My introduction to the delicate art of fan bearing
greasing came when too much pressure/grease moved the bearing on the shaft
somehow, so that the races were on a non-race surface somewhere deep inside.
Tight, tight, tight. No amount of apologetic whacks with a hammer would
convince the bearing to loosen up again.
Was one of those ASAP moments!.
