<VV> idle question....

Hi,

I've got my 1965 Monza coupe up and running, but I've got a question about 
the idle.  I've got the carbs set up according to the book, or at least I 
think I have, but here's what happens.  The engine will purr along just fine 
at about 600 rpm for 3-4 seconds, then there's a momentary faltering, then 
it picks back up and runs fine for another 3-4 seconds, then dips again, 
etc.  It sounds like the engine is cutting out for about 1/2 second.  The 
mechanical condition of the engine is unknown, except that it seems to run 
fine otherwise, has good oil pressure, doesn't smoke or make unusual noises. 
The engine does seem to vibrate quite a bit at idle, then smooths out as the 
revs increase.  I've got it balanced with a manometer, and I haven't found 
any air leaks yet.  Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on this, I'm all ears 
(eyes, whatever!).
