Your local FLAPS should have the special socket used for oil switch removal. Anything you can do to get it out, but only the proper tool to instal it. Otherwise you might get to by a new one.

Generator
Hello Guys ‘n Gals,
I own a 1961 Rampside with a 80hp and 3 spd. The engine has a generator.
The oil pressure switch decided to “ go south” on me. Upon purchasing a
new one, I dove into the engine compartment to change it. Well, let me tell
you, it has been a challenge for sure.
I have removed the fan belt, removed two of the three bolts holding the
generator in place. Facing the engine, the one on the left side of the generator
bracket and the front one on the right side.
My problem is this, how in heck do I remove the remaining bolt on the right
rear of the bracket. The pulley is in the way for a direct path down to the
bolt head and the oil pressure switch is in the way from the side.
With two of the bolts removed, it will only move about ½” and it is still
not enough to get at the remaining bolt or the switch. I have tried a 1 1/16”
deep socket to get at the switch, but it will not clear the pulley.
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced the same problem and
how they solved it.
Regards,
George….ACORNs/Corvantics
