Actually, the '64 oil bath pre-cleaner user a hose that attched to the 'snout' on the standard 64-69 style air cleaner. At least that is what was on my '64 from the factory.

Was the AC version different than the non AC version, so the snout could
clear the condenser?
How about, since the only center section on a 64 would be for AC, the
other 64 version has something to do with an oil bath pre cleaner?
