J.J. is a former housemate of mine, back in the early 80s when we were both 
single and poor and chasing racing for the National Speed Sport News in New 
Jersey.  J.J. moved on, first to Watkins Glen and then to Daytona.  He got 
me a gig announcing at Watkins Glen, for which I remain grateful, it was a 
thrill.

He knows Corvairs, our garage was full of mine and our regular cars stayed 
out in the weather.
