Here is a question for all but for Kent Sullivan in particular.  Do the

66 Canadian built Corvairs have the same wiring and color codes as their
American counterparts.?  Am hoping to get Ned's modern diagrams but want to
be sure they're compatible to my 66 Canadian coupe.  Much appreciate any
insights.

Yes there are differences in where the wires run most notably the turn
signal flasher is in the fuse block not separate. The wiring diagram for US
cars is schematically the same just where the parts are is different. Not
enough good examples or enough (anal) time to check color codes on all kinds
of wiring harnesses!
