<VV> Sound deadening --- was mufflers

Dynamat is effective and there are other, cheaper, alternatives. I seems
that the most effective place for it would be under the headliner. I believe
the old Solar Cavalier put something there. Of course it may not be worth
the effort unless one was replacing the headliner anyway. Anyone have
experience with sound deadening material on the roof? If so, what glue glue
works?
