<VV> Engine cylinder head temperature guage?

I have a '66 Monza PG with a 140 engine. I would like
to install an engine cylinder head temperature guage.
I have two questions: 1) what type of guage should I
install, and 2) should it be connected into the block
or in through the spark plug, and do all 140 engines
have a cutout for the sensor in the block?
