<VV> protecto-plates

I have a 1965 Monza , (imported from Chicago through the kind endeavours 
of the previous owner), and which has a protecto-plate proudly residing 
in the original owner's handbook.

The car was built in late 1964, so I suspect that you are saying that  " 
'64 and earlier cars not having a protecto-plate" refers to the 
early-model cars only.
