The added air flow will raise the blower HP a little, but the lower engine  
temps will MORE than make up for it!

Deflashing and minimizing the obstruction to air flow RAISES  the horsepower 
the fan requires. Look at the hp/flow data in the SAE 140C  report for 
details.
