<VV> convert. top window

I have a '65 Corsa ragtop; the rag is in good shape but the plastic window  
has had to be cut out so that I can see out the back.  Has anyone had good  
results from replacing the plastic and, if so, what kind of plastic and what  
kind of fastening was used?
