Unlike the EM, there are no gears between the speedo's input shaft and
the tire on a LM, as it's on a direct cable-driven hookup to the front
wheel. So if your tires will roll 825 revolutions per mile, your speedo
will (if it's true to the label) be dead on accurate.

It's a gear ratio. It's probably spot on from the standpoint of the
odometer. 825 revs = one mile on the odo.
