John,
Please explain to all of us simple people why you think high speed is
available all over the world, or at least all over America, for a
reasonable price. I happen to be lucky in the fact that one of the TWO
cable companies that run lines by my property actually has a good
service record. But, I work with many people who live in King George, VA
and counties to the east of there, and southern Maryland (Charles and
St. Mary's counties). These people, like myself, live too far from the
switch to get DSL ( or at least DSL that has a high speed....). They
also have no cable service for miles from their property. Cell phone
reception is poor also, so the Verizon cards that plug into the computer
to access NationalAccess do not work. Or if they do work, it makes dial
up seem fast! Every time I mention satillite, I get the response they
checked into it and it is $400 in equipment and $100 per month.
So just how soon will all the people have high speed? Tell me your
secret and I will pass it on.
