I know Tamias was just quoting Hemmings, but "Poorly engineered"? This 
would be the same Chevy II that remained in production and sold well 
through 1979, when it was replaced by front wheel drive platform.

I drove a 1977 Nova with 307, A/C, PS, PB, TH350 for many years. Very 
dependable. Only sold it when it became an extra in the fleet and the 
wife didn't like beige.
