Hi Everyone:
I just wanted to let you know Ed was released from the hospital yesterday.  I called his house around lunch time and his son answered the phone.  He said hold on, he is in the garage working on his Rampside.
Ed seemed very humble as one would after a near death experience.  He said he has a lot of repenting to do to his friends and family for giving them 4 days of pain and stress for a stupid mistake on his part.  He also said he had no idea so many people cared for him.  Yes, he is being overwhelmed with the media begging for interviews.  Interviews have been requested from all over the world.  Ed just didn't get why he was getting all this attention.  His son said, " Dad, have you stop to think that this world is just hurting for some good news these days"?
I asked Ed when would be able to rib him about this as we are storing it up.  He said go ahead, they have already started at work.  Someone tied some sort of a rope to his desk that they plan on attaching to him that will only allow him a 30ft perimeter.  They also said they plan to implant a GPS chip in his butt and Ed said he doesn't have much of a butt at the moment.
I told him the two comments from our house were there must be some sort of a hard luck award associated with training for a marathon and the other was he heard there was a Corvair in the woods and he had to check it out. He did say that was the best one yet.
