<VV> Autocross question

Group,
   The SEUM (Southeastern Ultra Monza) will make it's debut at the CORSA/NC
Fall Affair this weekend. As many of you know this is Danny's (my oldest
grandson) car. I need to buy him a helmet this week. What are the SCCA
requirements for helmets? Can I get the proper one at a motorcycle shop?
