Oh they do - RWD since 1965 is mostly 5x4 3/4" (120.7mm), 5x5 (127) , or
4x4 (100). FWD is 5x100 and 5x115
However if you look at the backside of a cast wheel, you will find the lug
holes are in fairly large pads and which bolt circle is selected is just a
machining operation, the casting can be the same if a single backspacing is
adopted (or you add a spacer for RWD) and a single casting reduces
inventory costs.
Many aftermarket suppliers have taken it one step farther and dual pattern
wheels abound (back in the day, there were UniLugs to do the same thing), I
have a set of Enkeis (actually I now have 7 after one became unrepairable
and I could only find a set) in both 5x100 and 5x115.
