<VV> Spring rate/size difference between EM & LM front springs

Are the front springs swappable between EM and LM cars?

If yes, are the LM coupe springs stiffer/softer taller/shorter if
installed in a EM car?

I ask because I want to lower the front of my EM (63) and I have a pair
of good front springs that were pulled from a 66 coupe.

If I can cut them and use them it would save me from buying and
modifying other springs...
