At the risk of insulting your intelligence - are you SURE it's the gasket leaking? The little gasket sealing the electrical connector pin can leak (sometimes it is just loose) and when that happens it will dribble down under the clamp ring, then out the bottom, making a very good impression of an o-ring leak at the bottom.
