<VV> Thermister on a 110 Head

Is there a "boss" on a 110 Head that will allow you to install a stock 
thermister?

There is a tapped hole on the driver's side head (that is used for the temp switch when it's on the passenger's side).  Unfortunately, the thread pitch is wrong.  The vendors come to our rescue with an adapter that the thermister threads into and then the two of them together get threaded into the hole in the head.  Apperantly the hole isn't as deep as the one on the 140 and turbo heads so there is some question as to the accuracy of the indicated temperature when installed in a 110 head.  Or so.
