Good description. It shows why the addition of a "Ford" solenoid on cars
that do not crank easily will solve the problem. Now the starting button
circuit does not need to pass 35 amps, just 4 amps or so. A very popular
6 volt (VW etc.) modification, but have also used it on a Corvair 95.
