Very few clubs, with the exception of Chicago, are willing to do a 
second convention unless it is long enough after the first that most of 
the members involved with the original one are gone. We still get bashed 
on the St. Louis convention for something we had even less control over 
than the hotel, the weather. Often, putting on a convention nearly 
breaks up a club.

I think the 4 Clubs deserve our thanks for their efforts but there were problems and I don't think it's bad to talk about them.  It might not do any good either I suppose.  In any case I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to do another convention.  It's a thankless job.
