Are you saying you cannot adjust the idle speed[s] and mixture screw[s] to
allow it to idle in NEUTRAL? or just when in drive?
Are you saying no one in your chapter has any spare carbs?
Are you saying you haven't put your hand over each carb as soon as you let
it idle to find out which one kills the engine immediately [ the one it's
probably runing on during idle ]?
Are you saying that you haven't LOOKED into the bores as you hold the
crossshaft in the WOT position [ to see if BOTH plates are verticle and thus the
carbs are synched / balanced, fairly close ]?
Are you saying that you haven't left a timinglight, dwell meter hooked up at
idle to see if anything changes [ timing retards as speed decays ]?
Something BIG is missing.....and it isn't Katrina! gggg We all remember
Joe West and his 140 that wouldn't idle / run.........finally LOOKED into the
bores of his 140 and found a MELTED carb! gggg
