<VV> Westach CHT gauge

Hi Padgett,
I mounted the senders in the stock head location using either a bolt or the stock sender and a brass or copper washer to help conduct the heat. I routed the wire out between the head and the shroud at the bottom, where there was a slight opening sufficient for the wire to get by. Better would be to notch a small groove to accept a small grommet that had been slit to insert the wire and then insert the grommet with wire into the groove. Simple and effective and it should still seal well. I would NOT slit any opening around the spark plug wires. Having the sender in the stock location is an advantage in that the readings should correspond to stock senders. I did the same thing with a VDO gauge and two senders and provide a selector switch for the CHT senders as well as the O2 senders to the Safeguard LED display.
