<VV> 66 Taillights

Am confused again. I seem to have one each of two different sets of tail 
lights and backup lights. One pair has a thin (about 1/16" deep) chrome 
ring in the center and the other set has a much wider (about 3/8" thick) 
ring. To really confuse things both say "Guide" and "SAE 66". Which is 
correct for a 1966 Monza built in January at Willow Run ? What is the other 
set ?
