A longtime member of CORSA Oregon is the original owner of 
a dark red '62 Monza convertible. He's now working to get 
it back in service, after years of being buried under 
garage rubble. He bought it new and traded in (get this) a 
'53 Corvette. He said he was frustrated with the 'glass 
body and it's tendency to attract other vehicles to the 
point of contact, and difficulties getting body work done 
to it. I think he has more happy memories driving that 
Corvair than the 'Vette. It really says something to have 
kept the Corvair this long...like Early 'Vairs are better 
than 'Vettes?
