i have converted my fc's to powerglide. both have 9891 cams in them. i hope 
to change that in the rampy soon , and the van later. i feel that will make 
them even more driveable. i even did the 64 spyder years ago. it became a good 
travel car on pump gas after that. yes i missed the perfomance at times , but 
liked the other benifits much more as i put more miles on them all.  my winter 
goal is to get the powerglide 140 (with correct cam and crank etc) in my 
rampside. i also opted for octane cut 30 over pistons. there will be tinker time 
with carbs and distributor.
