Out of 6 Corvairs Purchased:

63 Coupe... Drove home only 2 miles:  Successful

63 Convertible... Drove home 20 miles:  Successful

Two 64 Convertibles... Towed 1 mile to my home since they were not drivable:
Don't count.

One 62 Monza, $300 car purchased in California.  450 miles driven...
absolutely no problems:  Successful

One 66 Corsa 140, 20 miles driven on one primary carburetor and a loose
distributor:  Successful (but REALLY slow going)

Summary:  All attempts at driving a Corvair home were successful with
absolutely no incidents whatsoever.
