<VV> remote key fob question NON CORVAIR

Non Corvair Question Here

Can a remote key fob for  a F**d be programmed to open two different
vehicles?  The fobs for both the 2000 and 2005 vehicles are the same and I
would like to not have to carry two fobs around.  I think that the actual
frequency would have to be changed on the vehicles to match but not sure if
it can be done.
