I ran a wire in the plug that the resistor wire is in between the
start and end of the resistor wire. This makes it 12 volts and takes
1 inch of wire and is easily reversible and looks stock. The
resistor wire is really just a loop so jumping across the to ends
does the trick just fine. I still don't get 12 exactly, about 11.5,
but that seems sufficient.
