Subject: <VV> Heating a 4bbl Centremount 390 Holley
I've seen a really simple, yet effective set up for this. The car I had
seen used a 70's/80's style air cleaner assembly that has a thermostatically
operated door in the snorkle that either allows fresh air in, or heated air
entering the bottom of the snorkle by the thermostat door. They welded a
fitting for the hot air riser pipe onto the summer/winter cover and ran it
up to the snorkle fitting. Looked simple enough to do, and the guy said it
worked like a charm.
Regards,
Joel
Does anybody have a digital photo of this setup...or any that works to warm
the 390 cfm Holley......
