Extrmely good advice. I was installing a brand new tinted windscreen in my Corsa. Everything went perfectly. As I was putting the trim on, I was having trouble 
getting one of the little clips to pop on the stud. As I was pushing it on with my thumb, it popped off and hit the side of the windshield, taking out an almost 
imperceptible chip. I continued installing the glass without further incident, only to discover a nearly foot-long crack starting at that little chip by the next 
morning....
