Just be very cautious not to catch an imperfection in the edge of the glass
with the guitar string (or whatever). If you happen to catch a rough spot,
you will likely be kissing that windshield goodbye!
Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.

After removing the trim, a Guitar string works pretty good too, long enough
to go thru and wrap the ends around a 1/2" Dia wooden dowel, tape in place
if you please, and one person on each end using a sawing motion---gets both
out (of an LM) in no time, less than an hour, depending on how hardened the
ribbon is.
