Keith, The doors aren't but there is a two part wedge that stiffens the body
when the door is closed. I don't have a set in front of me, but I remember a
metal (brass or bronze???) plate that was screwed to the door jamb at the top
to mate with a black piece that was screwed to the door. When the door
closed the two pieces made the door a stiffener for the body at the lower window
line. The coupes and sedans had a roof for the same job. If you are working
on a convertible and can't find parts let me know.

I think that I heard somewhere that convertible doors are different as well.
Is this true?

than the '68-9 doors, as the '68-9 doors have a
different detail around the lock knob. The '68-9's
have a "bulge" around the hole.
