I hadn't thought of the shadow that the FCs seem to cast as a topic. They
definitely have some "so boxy it's cool" going on, and that seems to make
them popular iconic images. Not only is there the morphing Greenbrier
(actually two Greenbriers), there's also the HP/Compaq Smart Start software
splash screen (which features a Greenbrier with "flybykite" on the
side). There are also assorted music video and TV appearances.
Not bad for a vehicle that was built in pretty small numbers for four years.
