<VV> seat question

I've located a seat that is the exact match for my car.  Trouble is that it's a passenger seat and I need to replace the driver's seat.  Does anyone know if I can modify a passenger seat to work as a driver's seat?  By the way, anyone interested, this source has about a hundred seats for all different models of Corvair.
