<VV> Corvair on Rock Album

Alan:

In the early seventies there was a rock group that used a LM in the cover 
photo for one of their albums.  The photo showed them sitting on the front boot 
(trunk) and fenders of a red LM.  I've lost the album, but would love to at 
least know who they were before I die (not planning to anytime soon though).  
They were Brits or Irish, but I can't remember which.  Anybody know who they were?
