<VV> (VV) RE; Hurricane unsubscribe

Hi Folks:
Have to drop off the list for a while to keep the
inbox from becoming overwhelmed.
As some of you may recall, I used to be a Public
Relations officer for FEMA.

Now, two, possibly three hurricanes in my state of
residence, has brought me back into the agency.

I leave tomorrow for Atlanta, thence to be deployed to
the disaster scene for an indeterminate tour.

I leave my wife and Corvair back home to cope with
Ivan, but that's the disaster biz. Some folks are in a
lot more trouble than we potentially are. Sometimes
altruism raises its lovely head, and you know you just
gotta go and do your part, trusting that similarly
minded individucals will take care of your loved ones
if they get into trouble.

Yes, I'll keep safe and hope that I don't have to run
into Joe Potts or Tony Fiore or any other Corvarians
in my travels, mainly because when you see me coming
you know you've had a disaster.
